Savannah, the oldest city in Georgia, oozes history, charm, and southern hospitality. It beguiles with Old World glamour and romance, which is why it's a top destination for weddings.
I don't know about y'all but when I think about Georgia, I automatically think of Gone with the Wind. I don't think about it in a negative way. I think about all the beautiful dresses and Southern Belles. I think of well dressed gentlemen and gentile ladies. I think of full skirts and parasols. I love old southern style. I think it requires you to hold yourself a certain way to carry it properly.
SO... What is the right style for a Savannah wedding? Styles for a Savannah wedding include Floral prints and Full skirts. Brights, Florals, Full skirts, and Ladylike lace are the most prominent designs for the southern destination of Savannah.
I'm a plus size chica who has a more dark southern style. Even with my personal style, I am able to find gorgeously appropriate styles to wear to the most southern of weddings.
